Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 26 October 2026
These terms apply when you buy Shroomo from playshroomo.com. Please read them before you order and save or print a copy for your records. They don't affect your legal rights as a consumer.
1. Who we are
We're TZ Studios Ltd, trading as Shroomo, a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 15771994). Our registered office is 87-91 Newman St, London W1T 3EY. You can reach us at [email protected] or through our contact form.
2. Age and responsible play
- Shroomo is for adults aged 18 and over. By ordering, you confirm you're 18 or older. We may cancel an order if we believe it was placed by someone under 18.
- You never have to drink alcohol to play. Water or a soft drink works just as well, and any player can skip a challenge.
- If you do drink, please drink responsibly. Know your limits, pace yourself and have water between drinks. The UK Chief Medical Officers advise not regularly drinking more than 14 units a week. For advice and support, visit Drinkaware.
- Never pressure anyone to drink, look out for each other, and never drink and drive.
- Don't drink alcohol while playing if you're pregnant, taking medication that interacts with alcohol, or have been advised not to drink.
- Each player decides whether to drink, what to drink and how much. Within the limits of the law, we're not responsible for the consequences of those choices or of players' behaviour while playing (see section 10).
3. Prices and offers
- A single pack costs £12.95 plus £2 UK delivery. A 3-pack costs £25.90 (3 for the price of 2) with free UK delivery. All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP).
- The price you pay is the one shown at checkout when you place your order.
- We may change our prices and offers from time to time. Changes never affect an order we've already accepted.
- If we've made an obvious mistake with a price, we'll contact you before dispatch. You can then confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.
- Product photos are for illustration. Packaging may vary slightly from what's shown.
4. Ordering and payment
- Payments are handled securely by Stripe. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We never see or store your full card details.
- Payment is taken when you place your order.
- Our contract with you starts when your payment is confirmed and we send you an order confirmation email.
- We may decline or cancel an order if we suspect fraud, believe the buyer is under 18, can't deliver to the address given, run out of stock, or find a pricing error. If we cancel, we'll tell you and refund you in full.
5. Delivery
- We deliver to UK addresses only.
- We aim to dispatch orders within 1 working day. Evri delivers within 3–5 working days of dispatch, and we email you a tracking link. See our Shipping Policy for details.
- Delivery times are estimates. If your order hasn't arrived within 30 days of you placing it, you can cancel and we'll refund you in full.
- The game is your responsibility once it's delivered to you or to someone you've nominated. It becomes yours once we've received full payment.
- If your parcel is lost or arrives damaged, contact us and we'll send a replacement or refund you.
6. Changing your mind
- You have 30 days from delivery to cancel your order for any reason. That's more than the 14 days the law requires.
- Tell us within 30 days, then send the game back within 14 days of telling us. You pay return postage for change-of-mind returns.
- We'll refund what you paid, including the original delivery charge, within 14 days of receiving the game back or of you sending proof of postage, whichever comes first.
- If the game has been handled more than needed to check it, we may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value, as the law allows.
- Full details and a model cancellation form are in our Refund Policy.
7. Faulty or incorrect items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the game must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If it isn't, you're entitled to:
- Up to 30 days: a full refund.
- Up to 6 months: a repair or replacement. If that isn't possible or doesn't fix the problem, a full refund in most cases.
- Up to 6 years: if the game doesn't last a reasonable length of time, you may be entitled to some money back.
We pay return postage for faulty or incorrect items, and often a photo is enough. See our Refund Policy, or contact Citizens Advice for free, independent advice.
8. Our intellectual property
- The Shroomo name, logo, artwork, card designs, packaging and rules belong to TZ Studios Ltd.
- Buying Shroomo lets you play it and share photos and videos of your games. You may not copy, reproduce, sell or adapt the game or its artwork without our written permission.
9. Your posts
- If you tag or mention @playshroomo, we may reshare your post on our social media with credit to you. We'll ask before using it anywhere else, such as in ads or on our website.
- If you'd like us to remove a reshared post, tell us and we will.
10. Our responsibility to you
- If we break these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result. We're not responsible for loss or damage that isn't foreseeable.
- We don't exclude or limit our liability where the law doesn't allow it. That includes death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- Shroomo is sold for private, domestic use. We're not responsible for business losses, such as lost profit or business interruption.
- Subject to the points above, we're not responsible for loss, injury or damage caused by how much alcohol a player chooses to drink, or by players' behaviour while playing, including damage to property and legal consequences.
11. Events outside our control
If something outside our control, such as severe weather, strikes or a courier failure, delays your order, we'll let you know and do what we can to limit the delay. If the delay is long, you can cancel and get a full refund.
12. Your personal information
We use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website when you place your order applies to that order.
14. Other important terms
- We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. If we do, we'll tell you, and your rights won't be affected.
- Only you and we have rights under these terms. Nobody else can enforce them.
- If a court finds part of these terms unlawful, the rest stays in force.
- If we don't insist on something straight away, we can still insist on it later.
15. Complaints and the law
- If something's gone wrong, contact us first at [email protected] and we'll do our best to put it right.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you can bring proceedings in Scotland or in England and Wales. If you live in Northern Ireland, you can bring proceedings in Northern Ireland or in England and Wales.
